ESCO SA designs, develops, assembles and markets high-precision screw-cutting machines intended for a demanding industrial clientele worldwide. Constantly growing, ESCO is looking for a personality capable of taking responsibility for the assembly workshop and actively contributing to the structuring of its industrial organisation for the years to come. We have been mandated to assist ESCO SA in recruiting its future:
Operations Manager (Assembly)
MISSION
Leading a team of about ten collaborators, you ensure the daily performance of assembly activities, the quality of delivered machines and respect for deadlines.
A true hands-on leader, you also ensure:
- The management of assembly, commissioning and validation activities of the machines - The supervision, development and skills enhancement of the team - The continuous improvement of processes and workshop organisation - The implementation of performance indicators and innovative working methods - Coordination with sales, customer service, technical office and applications personnel - Support for ESCO’s industrial growth and transformation - Participation in management meetings
PROFILE
- Technical training in mechanics, automation or industrial production - Proven experience in managing an industrial workshop or a technical assembly activity - Experience in machine construction, machine tools or a demanding industrial environment - Ability to implement performance indicators, standardise working methods and support change in a growth context - Strong skills in industrial organisation, continuous improvement and flow optimisation (Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt or equivalent) would be a real asset - Natural leadership and strong hands-on credibility - Excellent organisational and priority management skills - Entrepreneurial spirit, pragmatic and solution-oriented - Desire to build, structure and develop an organisation
