This role is about making AI coding agents a safe, everyday part of how n8n builds software. A strong candidate has a solid platform or developer tooling background, hands‑on time running agentic coding workflows, and the judgment to protect secrets and sensitive code while earning trust from senior engineers.

Agents do more of the first‑draft work, such as picking up tickets, running tests and proposing changes, so the job shifts toward shaping the environment they work in: clear repo instructions, good tests and sensible limits.
