A strong candidate has several years of product management on platform topics like identity and access or deployment models, and enough technical depth to work through cloud, login and networking details with engineers. Comfort with security reviews and enterprise IT buyers matters, as does knowing AI agents and MCP.

The platform has to serve both human users and AI agents, so questions like what an agent is allowed to do, and how its actions are controlled, become everyday product decisions. AI can speed up research, requirement writing and usage analysis. Judgment on risk, trust with security and compliance stakeholders, and tradeoffs between speed and reliability stay human.
How it builds AI experience
Working here means shaping how AI agents get access, permissions and extensions inside systems that make credit, fraud and anti money laundering decisions for banks and insurers. That gives direct exposure to agent governance and MCP in a regulated setting. Someone short on this can build it by trying MCP servers, studying how access control applies to agents, and writing up what they learn.
