Preston Recruitment is representing a leading European contractor seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee the delivery of major hyperscale data centre and mission-critical construction projects in Frankfurt, Germany.
Your Remit
You'll take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of large-scale data centre projects, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, commercial performance, programme delivery and client relationships from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale hyperscale data centre projects, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
- Oversee project teams, including Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commercial Managers and specialist subcontractors.
- Manage project budgets, commercial performance, forecasting and contractual obligations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Drive project programmes, identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor performance and resource planning across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure effective coordination of CSA, Mechanical and Electrical packages through construction, commissioning and handover.
- Provide strategic leadership, reporting and project updates to senior management and client representatives.
Who We Want To Speak With
Experienced Project Directors, Senior Project Managers and Construction Directors with a proven track record delivering large-scale data centre, hyperscale or mission-critical construction projects.
You’ll bring strong commercial awareness, experience managing major project teams and subcontractors, and the ability to lead complex, fast-paced construction programmes.
Previous experience delivering major projects across Europe, particularly within Germany, would be highly advantageous.
