We're looking for a Product Manager who takes ownership of complex, resilient B2B workflows and customer activation from day one. Someone who uses AI as a default part of how they work - and knows when to trust their own judgment.
Onboarding is where a customer's own supply chain meets everything we already know. It is the most important moment in the customer journey. You would own that moment: the outcome it produces, the capabilities we give customers to get there, and the journeys we design around it.
Customers need to be empowered to get up and running on their own. Customers bring in their own data, correct and enrich it, and understand the capabilities each gap unlocks. They need the tools and capabilities to do this, plus guided workflows to ensure the journey is smooth.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN You’ll own the internal product behind onboarding: the tools and data workflows our teams use to turn a customer's raw supply chain data into a fully configured Prewave account. You own the problem and the roadmap, not just the backlog.
Self-serve supply chain data tools.
Own how customers import and maintain data quality. That includes the hard data-model decisions behind it, like matching, de-duplication and taxonomies. - Keeping from v1, phrasing kept as Claude generated, can be revisited if needed.
Product strategy and roadmap.
Decide where the onboarding product goes next: what we automate, what stays manual, and what we stop doing altogether.
Discovery with internal users.
Work closely with Data Management, Customer Success and our onboarding teams. Watch how onboarding is done today, find where time and data quality are lost, and turn that into clear problem statements.
Prioritisation.
Many teams will bring you requests. You decide what matters most based on impact, and you're comfortable saying no.
Data model and pipeline decisions.
Shape how supplier, site and product data is ingested, matched, de-duplicated and classified. Work through the trade-offs between accuracy, automation and effort with engineers and data scientists.
Shaping bets.
Write Shape Up pitches that frame the problem, set the appetite and sketch a solution a team can build in a six-week cycle.
Measured by impact.
You're measured on how fast new customers reach value, how much manual effort each onboarding takes, the quality of the resulting data, and the cost to onboard an account.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR You are the right fit if you:
3+ years demonstrated experience as a product manager where you owned a roadmap and outcomes, not just delivery. You can show what changed because of what you built.
A technical background, for example a degree or work experience in computer science, engineering, data science or a related field.
Experience with data-heavy products such as data platforms, internal tooling, integrations or data quality. Concepts like entity resolution, de-duplication and taxonomies are familiar territory, and engineers respect your opinions on them.
You've turned a manual, people-heavy process into a product or automated workflow, and can explain the trade-offs you made.
You can build a business case, for example less manual effort or faster time to value, prioritise against it and defend it in front of leadership.
You use AI tools every day for analysis, synthesising findings and prototyping.
You're based in Vienna or willing to work from here, with about two office days a week.
Moved into
product from engineering, or data ? That's a plus here.
