A career in our Mergers and Acquisitions practice, within Deals Corporate Finance services, will provide you the opportunity to deliver innovative deal solutions to our clients, providing advice and support, from initiation through to deal completion. Your Impact

  • Responsible for leading and executing M&A engagements within the retail and consumer sector. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing insightful analysis, strategic recommendations, and leading negotiations to ensure the successful completion of transactions.
  • Spearheading end-to-end M&A engagements, including target identification, coordination of due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and integration planning.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and financial experts, to deliver comprehensive advisory solutions to clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the retail and consumer industry.
  • Analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and risks for clients.
  • Leading client presentations and preparing compelling reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members, contributing to their professional development.

Your Skill Set

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, PhD, etc.) is a plus.
  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in M&A advisory within the Business Services industry and proven track record of successfully executing M&A deals and providing strategic guidance to clients.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, coupled with a deep understanding of industry-specific dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to engage with and have an impact on clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate teams while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; German is a plus.
