Role Overview

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Glow25 , you will bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, well-documented data models, ensuring data reliability, and enabling self-service analytics across the company. Working closely with analysts, data engineers, and business teams, you will play a key role in shaping the BI landscape from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Develop data products , improve data discoverability, and empower business users with curated datasets.
• Ensure data quality through testing frameworks, validation processes, and documentation.
• Design performant ELT processes and scalable data architectures.
• Monitor data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure smooth operations .
• Partner with analysts and business teams to translate requirements into efficient data models that drive insights.

Minimum Experience & Skills

• At least 3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer , with some knowledge of Data Engineering or a strong willingness to learn. A generalist mindset is key.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data transformation tools like dbt .
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and efficient dataset structuring.
• Knowledge of data governance, testing, and data quality assurance , including dbt tests and metadata management.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and support them with data solutions.
• Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or similar.
