Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for Finance, Accounting and Controlling.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, multi‑year planning and performance analysis.
- Build and automate reporting processes, KPI dashboards and management information.
- Translate financial and operational performance into clear recommendations for management and investors.
- Develop a scalable finance structure and build a high‑performing internal finance team.
- Improve finance processes, systems and tools, including the use of automation and AI.
- Support financing, refinancing, acquisitions and post‑merger integration.
- Act as a strategic sparring partner to management, shareholders and the advisory board.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial information, governance and compliance.
- CFO Profile
- Previous experience as a CFO, Finance Director or VP Finance with overall responsibility for a finance function.
- Ideally, experience within a private equity‑backed software, Saa S or technology company.
- Proven ability to build, scale and lead a finance organisation.
- Strong experience across M&A, due diligence, financing, refinancing and post‑merger integration.
- Experience working directly with shareholders, boards and private equity investors.
- Strong knowledge of Saa S KPIs, unit economics and HGB; IFRS experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with modern ERP, BI and FP&A systems.
- A Transaction Services, Financial Advisory or Big Four background would be beneficial.
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset combined with a highly hands‑on approach.
