Chief of Staff to CFO | Global Tech & Software Company

Location: Berlin, Munich, Dusseldorf or Hamburg

We are supporting a confidential search for a highly analytical and commercially-minded Chief of Staff to the CFO at a global, high-growth technology company. This individual will operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations—supporting the CFO across planning, execution, and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, international environment.

Role Overview:

• Act as a strategic partner to the CFO, streamlining priorities and aligning finance with broader business objectives
• Strong ability to develop project plans (and track them accordingly)
• Lead and coordinate business planning, financial forecasting, and internal reporting processes
• Manage high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across corporate finance, operations, and strategy
• Support board and investor materials, M&A initiatives, and operational performance tracking
• Drive accountability across global teams and help refine internal decision-making frameworks

Ideal Background:

• 4+ years’ experience in top-tier management consulting ( MBB ) or Big 4 strategy/transaction services
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial planning, modeling, and performance metrics (PnL, cash flow statements)
• Experience working directly with CFOs or senior finance leaders in dynamic, global settings
• Clear, concise communicator with the ability to manage complexity and influence at all levels
• Comfortable with ambiguity, urgency, and executive-level exposure
