Head of FP+A

Zurich | PE-Backed Software | International Growth | Strategic Finance The Business We are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed software business headquartered in the Zurich area. The company operates internationally and is entering an important next phase of growth, with a strong focus on scaling the business, improving financial visibility and driving operational performance. As the finance function continues to professionalise, they are looking for a Head of FP+A to work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team. The Opportunity This is a highly visible role at the centre of the group's financial planning and performance management. You will take ownership of core FP&A processes while acting as a commercial and strategic sparring partner to senior stakeholders across the business. Key responsibilities include: Own and further develop the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes Lead monthly performance analysis, including actuals vs. budget, variance analysis and rolling forecasts Develop management reporting and provide clear insights to the CFO, management team and investors Build and improve financial models to support strategic and commercial decision-making Partner with business leaders to understand performance and identify opportunities to improve growth, profitability and cash generation Develop and track key SaaS/software KPIs, including ARR, MRR, churn, retention and recurring revenue Support scenario planning, investment cases and strategic projects Help drive the continued professionalisation and automation of FP&A processes and systems Support M&A, integration and other value-creation initiatives where required Your Background We are looking for someone with: Strong experience within FP&A, controlling or commercial finance Ideally experience within software, SaaS, technology or another recurring-revenue environment Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities Experience owning budgeting and forecasting processes Confidence working directly with senior management A commercial mindset and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights Experience in a PE-backed, high-growth or international environment would be highly advantageous Fluent English; German would be beneficial but is not essential Why Join?
