PE - Chief of Staff - Large Cap

Role Overview

We are seeking an MBB Consultant to be the Chief of Staff to the CEO to serve as a strategic right-hand, supporting high-impact initiatives across M&A, corporate development, and business strategy . This is a unique opportunity to operate at the heart of the business, working directly with the CEO, executive team, investors, and external stakeholders to drive growth, operational clarity, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

M&A and Corporate Development

• Support the end-to-end M&A process: deal sourcing, pipeline tracking, financial modelling, commercial due diligence, and integration planning
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams between internal teams and external advisors (legal, finance, strategy)
• Maintain active visibility over the deal funnel and report progress to the CEO and Board

Strategic Finance

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and board reporting
• Partner with the CEO and CFO on capital allocation, fundraising support, and investor presentations
• Conduct ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to inform executive decision-making

CEO Support & Strategic Initiatives

• Drive special projects and internal transformations, aligning teams around strategic priorities
• Prepare briefing materials, board decks, and CEO communications
• Act as a thought partner to the CEO on market positioning, org design, and performance metrics

Candidate Profile

• 4–7 years of experience in one of the MBB Consulting firms.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, business planning, and deal execution
• Strong communication skills — able to craft clear narratives and influence senior stakeholders
• Native German preferred
