PE - Investment Director (Tech)

About the Firm

We are currently working with a mid-market buyout fund with a long-standing track record of backing ambitious management teams and transforming businesses in the Healthcare, Tech and Business Services sectors across Europe. They focus on majority investments in high-potential companies, typically targeting enterprise values of €100Mn – €300Mn . The fund with over €7Bn AUM has over 30+ investment professionals and has made over 50+ investments to date.

Role Overview

The Director will play a core role in all aspects of the investment lifecycle — from origination support and transaction execution through to portfolio value creation. Working closely with Principals and Partners, the Director will lead workstreams on live deals, oversee junior team members, and engage directly with management teams, advisors, and internal stakeholders. This role is ideal for a highly motivated investor who is ready to take on broader ownership and develop into an MD.

Candidate Profile

• 7–13 years of relevant experience in:
• Private equity
• Solid experience executing transactions, including financial modelling, due diligence, and deal structuring.
• High level of commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Native fluency in German is a must.
