Sales Engineer - Warehouse Automation

Job Responsibilities:

• Customer-oriented support and advice for existing and new customers
• Development and design of customer-specific solutions
• Preparation of technical and commercial proposals in the SAP ERP system
• Creation and tracking of standardized and individual offers
• Processing customer specifications (buildings, etc.), third-party trades, and internal project requirements (measurement, etc.)
• Security/access concept coordination with CE management
• Interface definition of mechanics / PLC
• Monitoring, coordination, and support of projects
• Active collaboration with other departments (development, product management, design, project management)

Requirements:

• Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification or experience
• First professional experience in a similar role; experience in sales of technical capital goods is a plus; young professionals are welcome
• Profound knowledge of mechanical engineering, preferably in intralogistics
• Knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and CAD
• Customer-oriented mindset and solution-oriented thinking
• Structured, communicative, team-oriented, and independent working style
• Willingness to travel
• Responsibility, reliability, and determination
• Team spirit, organizational, and communication skills
• Well-groomed, personable, and confident demeanor
• Language skills: English and German required; additional languages are an advantage
