IT Project Manager
to join their Global Projects Team. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised project professional looking to manage high-value automation projects from initial customer engagement through to successful handover and delivery. Reporting to Head of the Department, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed customer specifications. Working closely with customers, sales teams, engineers and site personnel, you will oversee project schedules, coordinate resources and drive successful project outcomes across the UK and wider international locations when required. Responsibilities:
Manage automation and intralogistics projects throughout the full project lifecycle Maintain project schedules and provide regular progress reports Control project costs, budgets and contractual requirements Coordinate procurement activities and delivery schedules Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure customer specifications are met Manage customer communications and project documentation Oversee testing, commissioning and project milestone sign-offs Create and manage project risk assessments, defect logs and resolution plans Support installation activities and ensure compliance with project requirements Deliver successful project handovers and customer training programmes Requirements:
Proven track record managing projects within automation, intralogistics, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or a related industry Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification or equivalent Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel and Word Understanding of intralogistics processes and automated solutions Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous Reasons why you should apply:
