ROBOTICS CONTROL ENGINEER

For our client in Germany – a leading provider of technology consulting, platform and product engineering, AI, and advanced analytics services – we are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Robotics Control Engineer.

You will play a key role in developing and advancing cutting‑edge robotics programming tools and solutions.

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in robotics, computer science, mathematics, and machine learning to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• You will work with a global team of researchers and engineers in the field of robotics and computer vision to deliver innovative products and solutions.
• Develop software for controlling and operating robotic systems, implementing algorithms for perception, planning, and control.
• Contribute to the development of robotics toolpath planning algorithms, their simulation and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software components into complete robotic systems, conducting testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance.
• Experiment with state‑of‑the‑art methods in object detection, pose estimation, and motion planning.
• Participate in the design and implementation of robotics programming tools and reusable components.

Qualifications

• MS or Ph D degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with commissioning and programming industrial robots, with a focus on developing and deploying manipulation robotic systems (e. g. bin picking, packaging, agriculture picking).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, and experience with robotics frameworks and libraries.
• Familiarity with robotic simulation tools and platforms, such as ROS (Robot Operating System), Gazebo and Isaac Sim/Omniverse.
• Experience with robotic perception and manipulation algorithms, such as path planning and motion control.
• Strong understanding of robotic hardware components and subsystems, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e. g., Py Torch, Tensor Flow, JAX) and computer vision models.
• Experience in manufacturing industry and understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, surface treatment, painting, and polishing is a strong advantage.
