Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js) (m/f/d) in München

PROBIS Software GmbH is a dynamic PropTech start-up specializing in advanced cloud-based solutions for cost management processes in the real estate industry. Our flagship platform, PROBIS, delivers comprehensive financial project controlling across all project types and asset classes. From initial planning to completion, we provide leading international project developers, managers, and financial institutions with a flexible and powerful controlling tool that streamlines their operations.
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer with around three years of professional experience to join our engineering team. You'll work on our React-based solutions and contribute to the Node.js/TypeScript services that power new features as we move PROBIS toward a modern, service-oriented architecture alongside our existing .NET backend and our DevOps and infrastructure team.

Your Responsibilities

• Frontend Development
  • Build and maintain responsive, modern web application features using React and TypeScript
  • Implement reusable, well-tested UI components
  • Work with modern data-fetching and state-management approaches to build fast, reliable interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with designers and product owners to turn requirements into polished features
• Backend & API Development
  • Build and consume typesafe APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) that connect frontend and backend services
  • Contribute to backend and middleware services in our Node.js/TypeScript stack, working alongside our .NET backend team
  • Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases to design efficient, well-structured data models
  • Write and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) to keep our codebase reliable
• Infrastructure & Delivery
  • Containerize and deploy services with Docker
  • Work within our CI/CD pipelines to ship features safely and frequently
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team on Azure-based deployments and monitoring
  • Contribute to our ongoing shift toward a modern, service-oriented architecture
• Collaboration & Quality
  • Work in a cross-functional team alongside backend (.NET), frontend, and DevOps engineers
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
  • Continuously help improve code quality, documentation, and development workflows

• Must-Have
  • Around 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
  • Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with Node.js for backend or middleware development
  • Experience with Docker and modern CI/CD workflows
  • Good understanding of Git-based workflows
  • Good command of English
• Nice-to-Have (a strong plus, not a dealbreaker)
  • Experience with typesafe API layers such as tRPC
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
  • Exposure to testing frameworks
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
