Operational Buyer (small molecules)

ppTurn supplier relationships into high-performing, reliable supply chain outcomes. /p pProclinical is seeking an Operational Buyer to join the Supply Chain team in Swtzerland, supporting Small Molecules operations. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of supply chain activities by managing supplier performance and executing the Material Requirements Plan (MRP). /p pPlease note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liMonitor and track supplier performance, providing feedback to Strategic Buyers and Category Managers. /li liDrive continuous improvement in supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and compliance. /li liResolve Level 2 vendor escalations, such as delivery delays, MRP-driven changes, pricing discrepancies, and shipping issues. /li liCollaborate with Procurement teams to maintain accurate material and vendor master data in SAP. /li liSupport supplier qualification, onboarding, and implementation of supplier changes. /li liManage vendor returns (RMAs), including cost recovery and replacements. /li liAddress Accounts Payable inquiries, such as invoice discrepancies. /li liConduct regular open order review meetings with suppliers. /li liAssist in onboarding and approval of new raw materials and suppliers with internal stakeholders. /li liParticipate in competitive bidding processes and execute RFx activities in line with policy. /li liSupport Strategic Buyers in negotiating low-value contracts. /li liContribute to initiatives led by Central Category Managers and Site Strategic Buyers. /li liPerform additional duties as required. /li /ul h3Key Skills and Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience. /li liProven experience in procurement or operational buying roles. /li liProficiency in SAP or comparable ERP systems. /li liStrong background in purchasing raw materials. /li liAbility to manage vendor performance and implement improvement plans. /li liExperience in contract negotiation. /li liStrong commercial acumen and strategic mindset. /li liExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills. /li liFluency in English and German is mandatory. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
