Overview
As Clinical Research Lead, you oversee global clinical studies of medium to high complexity, collaborating with cross-functional teams from protocol development to data reporting. You drive trial strategy, site selection, risk management, and budget oversight to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance. You lead global cross-functional Clinical Trial Teams and align stakeholders to accelerate timelines. You bring strong leadership and operational expertise to transform scientific concepts into executable plans, with a focus on oncology/hematology where applicable.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead development and implementation of clinical protocols, amendments, and study documents with medical and cross-functional collaboration
- Provide strategic and scientific input into study concepts, feasibility, and execution plans
- Collaborate with partners to identify and select high-performing recruitment sites
- Lead global cross-functional Clinical Trial Teams to meet deliverables and accelerate timelines
- Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations and align line functions
- Conduct medical-scientific reviews of trial data including safety trend analysis and data interpretation
- Prepare and lead dose escalation meetings with investigators and ensure real-time access to quality data
- Lead risk mitigation discussions and implement trial-level risk management strategies
- Forecast and manage study budgets with key partners
- Set vendor strategies and timelines for assigned studies
- Implement best practices and share lessons learned to improve processes
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or healthcare; advanced degrees preferred (PhD, MD, PharmD, or Master’s)
- Strong understanding of oncology/hematology or demonstrated learning agility in therapeutic areas
- Proven ability to lead complex collaborations and adapt to fast-paced changes
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of collaboration
- Proficient in clinical trial methodology, especially in early clinical development
- Operational project management experience (planning, prioritization, problem-solving)
- Ability to interpret and present trial-level data effectively
- Working knowledge of clinical finance principles to manage budgets
- Extensive knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and external regulations
