About the Role

As a Software Engineer (Go/Golang), you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that power mission-critical applications. Working closely with Product, Machine Learning, and Engineering teams, you will build new features, improve system reliability, and contribute to highly secure, cloud-native solutions used by customers worldwide.

This role is ideal for backend engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of production systems, and working in a collaborative engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Go (Golang)
• Build new product features and continuously improve existing functionality
• Improve observability, monitoring, and system performance across backend services
• Maintain and enhance the security of applications handling sensitive data
• Take ownership of production systems following a "You build it, you run it" philosophy
• Refactor legacy applications into modern, event-driven and resilient architectures
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, SQL-based services, and messaging systems
• Collaborate with Machine Learning engineers to integrate AI-powered audio and video analysis services
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative hybrid environment

Required Profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience
• Proven commercial experience developing applications using Go (Golang)
• Strong knowledge of backend software architecture and distributed systems
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid experience working with SQL databases
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications
• Experience working with messaging systems and event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of software quality, testing, and secure development practices
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working within agile, hybrid engineering teams
• Fluent English (C1 level or above)

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices
• Exposure to Machine Learning integrations or AI-driven products
• Experience improving system observability and monitoring
• Familiarity with state-machine architectures
• Passion for building secure, high-availability software
