Productsup is looking for a Senior Software Developer to help build the next generation of our platform. You’ll be at the forefront of a major revitalization, shaping a best‑in‑class experience for a diverse and exciting client base.

In this role, you’ll lead projects, mentor engineers, and ensure high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless experiences while modernizing and consolidating our systems.

In your first 3 months you will:

• Dive deep into our platform, codebase, and engineering processes
• Help build features for software that works with large data sets

In your first 6 months and beyond you will:

• Design and implement new UI features and application architecture in React + TypeScript
• Build robust client‑server contracts with technologies like tRPC, collaborating on shared types and APIs
• Migrate and consolidate functionality from the legacy Angular/PHP system into a unified application
• Write clean, well‑tested, maintainable code while owning feature development end to end
• Optimize app performance and frontend build pipelines for large-scale codebases
• Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and help establish best practices and frontend standards
• Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver excellent UX and consistent UI aesthetics

What you bring to the team

Must‑haves:

• Deep software expertise with a proven record of solving complex problems and leading projects (typically 7+ years’ experience, but open to all qualified candidates)
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, building and maintaining type‑safe, large‑scale applications
• Strong HTML/CSS fundamentals and UI/UX sense, with experience in semantic, accessible markup and componentized layouts (e.g. Radix UI, TailwindCSS)
• Hands‑on experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, Rollup) and CI/CD for JS/TS, including fast incremental builds, caching, and pipeline optimizations
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and to mentor other engineers

Nice‑to‑haves:

• Familiarity with backend technologies such as PHP or Symfony (especially helpful for migration projects)
• Experience with WebSockets and real‑time architectures
• Prior experience with Angular (useful for migrating legacy code)
• Experience using AI‑assisted developer tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to boost productivity
• Background in monorepos, one‑app architectures, and shared‑type strategies between frontend and backend
