MUST-HAVE SKILLS
- University degree in the domain of engineering, science, or equivalent
- Extensive hands-on experience (at least 5 years) in schedule preparation, monitoring and control, for complex/large system programmes, as well as in planning and monitoring the allocated resources
- Demonstrated ability to define system development logic and schedules and successfully implement them
- Demonstrated ability to understand the system components and their development constraints
- Extensive experience in using Microsoft Project or a similar project management tool suite (e.g. Primavera)
- Analyze complex development schedules, identify critical areas and produce accurate and concise analyses and recommendations
- Shall be used to working in a rigorous manner with formal configuration management of schedule versions
- They shall be able to fulfil the assigned tasks with supervision have a systematic approach to work, be able to plan his/her work and to cope with tight schedules and multiple tasks
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILL S
- Knowledge of large space programmes development logic standards and specifications (e.g. ECSS) is considered a strong asset
- Experience in supporting management of large space systems development. Experience in critical design and qualification phases (e.g. C/D phases) will be considered a strong advantage
- Demonstrated experience of defining system interactions and successfully implementing them in a large project
TASKS
- Develop and maintain system schedules and logic for all elements, ensuring alignment with program constraints.
- Analyze critical paths, track progress, and manage interactions between subsystems and partners.
- Monitor resource conflicts, signal deviations, and propose solutions to keep plans on track.
- Prepare reports, metrics, and inputs for reviews, meetings, and department schedules.
- Support configuration management and ensure smooth subsystem integration.
