Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) activities during the construction phase of a pharmaceutical project.
• Act as the lead representative for the MEP scope, with a strong emphasis on mechanical systems, process equipment, piping, utilities, and technical packages.
• Coordinate electrical and plumbing activities to ensure effective interface management and seamless project execution.
• Ensure all installations comply with project drawings, specifications, GMP requirements, and applicable industry standards.
• Manage and coordinate contractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal project stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress and support the successful delivery of project milestones and schedule objectives.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and HSE requirements across all site activities.
• Support Mechanical Completion, Turnover, Commissioning, and handover to commissioning and validation teams.
• Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues on site.
• Serve as the key interface between Engineering, Construction, Vendors, and the Project Management Team.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience as an MEP Superintendent, Construction Manager, Mechanical Superintendent, or in a comparable role.
• Strong mechanical background with experience in process equipment, piping systems, utilities, or industrial plant construction (Priority 1).
• Experience coordinating electrical installation works and managing multidisciplinary interfaces (Priority 2).
• Basic understanding of plumbing, sanitary, and building utility systems (Priority 3).
• Proven experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or cleanroom projects.
• Good understanding of GMP requirements and regulated project environments.
• Experience with Mechanical Completion, Turnover, and Commissioning activities is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of quality awareness and commitment to HSE standards.
• Fluent German language skills; English proficiency is advantageous.
