Project Manager Data Center Construction (m/f/d)
For a major data center construction project in the Frankfurt area, we are seeking a motivated Project Manager (m/f/d) to support the General Contractor on site.
We are looking for a professional who is not only able to manage project processes but is also highly present on site, takes ownership of challenges, and works closely with project teams to drive solutions and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall project management team in the delivery of a data center project
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities on site
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and operational challenges during construction
- Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and budgets
- Support the project throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning to handover
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Initial to several years of experience in building construction, industrial projects, or data center developments
- Experience working for a General Contractor, EPC contractor, or construction company
- Hands-on, solution-oriented approach with a strong site presence
- Experience leading and coordinating project or site-based teams
- Good understanding of the full project lifecycle, including design, construction, commissioning, and handover
- Fluency in English; German language skills are considered an advantage
