About The Job

We\’re seeking a motivated and result-driven Chief of Staff (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies. The role involves driving operational success and supporting the Founders by managing strategic and operational tasks, shaping workflows, and initiatives. This position offers a key role within digital and AI-driven businesses.

The company is a next-generation supply chain platform leveraging agentic AI and automation to redefine sourcing, distribution, and financing in a major industry. It has experienced exponential growth and is scaling rapidly across Europe, China, and India, with a focus on profitability and industry leadership.

Responsibilities

1. Design and optimize internal processes, projects, and structures in collaboration with designated team members.
2. Manage daily operations including tools and administrative activities such as billing, time tracking, and invoicing.
3. Create presentations for various meetings and communications.
4. Monitor and report on project progress, providing insights to leadership and stakeholders.
5. Organize internal and external events like Strategy Days and Offsites.
6. Contribute to project management and organizational improvements.
7. Assist in strategizing and executing the founders’ agenda.
8. Provide operational support to Founders in Berlin and during business trips across Europe, the UK, US, and China.

Candidate Profile

1. 3-5 years of experience in consultancies, scale-ups, VCs, or PEs.
2. Strong project management skills with experience in creating slides and spreadsheets using an analytical, structured approach.
3. Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
4. Ability to work in ambiguous situations and lead with minimal input.
5. Relationship-building skills with proactive problem anticipation.
6. Resilient, trustworthy, and proactive with confidential information.
7. Willingness to travel within Europe and work in a Berlin office.
