About the job
As Junior Digital Project Manager VIE within our Digital M&S Facilities team, you’ll support implementing digital applications in our new Drug Substance facilities in Frankfurt, Germany by preparing, supporting and coordinating the Digital activities for the new Drug Substance site that we will build in Germany (Frankfurt). You will also overview the digital strategy in the new Insulins sites. This includes the alignment with the overall roadmap/timeline, preparing documents and assist the Infrastructure foundations team from project delivery to operational mode. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing by leveraging cutting‑edge digital solutions while ensuring operational excellence. As the Digital world is evolving so quickly, you will be able to identify and propose any emerging technology (IoT sensors, data analytics, AI‑driven process optimization…) to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality during the duration of the construction. Main responsibilities
- Support the implementation of electronic batch records and digital documentation systems for paperless manufacturing.
- Oversee and optimize all digital systems across the facility.
- Create dashboards for all operational area.
- Foster strong collaboration among Digital teams (infrastructure, automation, cybersecurity, validation etc).
- Overview full compliance and alignment with Engineering and Quality department.
- Support the implementation of the digital project schedule.
- Prepare meetings with cross‑functional teams to implement the Digital system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (GxP, SOX, Cyber, ...).
About you
Experience
- Previous experience working in digital strategy, managing Digital projects, preferably in the industrial pharmaceutical sector.
Soft and technical skills
- Advanced project management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Digital systems is preferred.
- Ability to work in an international, global matrix environment.
- Great communicator, willing to learn and work with cross‑functional teams.
- Can‑do attitude and proactive thinking.
Education
- Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Languages
- Fluent in English (German or French would be a plus).
