Overview
Senior Project Manager at project44 leads end-to-end customer implementations within a fast-paced SaaS environment. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, govern project delivery, and ensure on-time, on-scope delivery with strong customer satisfaction. The role blends governance, planning, and hands-on delivery, often with regional presence and language capabilities. You’ll partner with Solutions Architects to translate business needs into successful implementations, shaping how customers realize value from the platform.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own full project lifecycle from post-sale handover to Go-Live and Hypercare
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, and deliverables
- Lead project governance with status reporting and stakeholder communication
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation strategies
- Oversee budget and scope to meet commercial parameters
- Be primary customer contact for delivery and expectation management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Solutions Architects, Engineering, Product, Support)
- Facilitate project ceremonies (kick-off, weekly status, steering committees, go-live readiness)
- Support testing phases (System Testing & UAT) and Go-Live planning
- Oversee Hypercare and transition to Customer Success
- Track progress using internal tools (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Rocketlane)
- Contribute to process improvements and scalable delivery frameworks
- Support pre-sales by providing delivery feasibility input
- Travel occasionally for on-site delivery when needed
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- 5+ years in customer-facing project management roles
- Experience in supply chain, transportation, or logistics tech, SaaS implementations, or software delivery
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong risk, budget, and stakeholder management
- Experience with project and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office)
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Experience with TMS, ERP, or supply chain systems is a plus
