What You'll Do
As a Founding Engineer, you'll shape both the product and the company. This is a 0-to-1 role with real influence—on architecture, on roadmap, on culture.
- Build core systems — APIs, integrations, automation infrastructure
- Make architecture decisions — no one's going to hand you a spec
- Ship features fast — from idea to production in days, not months
- Work directly with customers — understand problems, deliver solutions
- Set the technical bar — your code becomes the standard for future hires
- Influence product direction — you're not just executing, you're deciding
This isn't optional. We're an AI company building with AI.
- Claude Code as your primary development environment—fluency required
- Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf or similar AI coding assistants daily
- Writing PRDs and specs that AI tools can execute effectively
- Building and orchestrating AI agents using MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Experience with Claude API, GPT APIs for building AI-powered features
- Using Google Stitch, v0.dev or similar for rapid prototyping
- Staying current with AI dev tools—things change weekly, we adapt faster
- You should be pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI-assisted development
You're a builder at heart. You thrive in ambiguity, love solving hard problems, and want your fingerprints on every part of the product.
- You learned to code before you knew what a "tech career" was
- You write code that's clean, purposeful, and a joy to build on
- You hate unnecessary abstractions—and even more, slow meetings
- You believe products should feel alive, not bloated
