Senior Enterprise Account Manager – Austria
Drive new cybersecurity business across multiple vertical markets in Austria, engaging C-level executives and technical staff in enterprise accounts. Build and grow a portfolio of named accounts, combining new logos and expansion of existing customers across our full Proofpoint platform. Responsibilities
Establish strong executive-level relationships with accounts above 2,500 users across cross-vertical focus. Penetrate new accounts and expand presence with existing customers, driving land, expand, cross‑sell, and up‑sell opportunities. Articulate and promote Proofpoint’s value proposition, becoming a trusted advisor within the customer base. Collaborate with System Engineers and internal resources to develop account strategies, plans and flawless product demonstrations. Partner with the channel ecosystem to access new accounts. Deliver operational excellence, including forecast accuracy and pipeline generation progression. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning. Qualifications
Experienced technology sales professional with a focus on SaaS value‑based solutions. Cyber‑security experience is an advantage. Proven track record of exceeding targets, achieving new logos and leveraging channel partnerships. Strong attention to detail and a never‑give‑up attitude with high‑level activity (executive value selling). Ability to establish and nurture executive business relationships (CISO, CIO, CMO, etc.). Experience closing complex, high‑value business opportunities. Proficient in formal sales playbooks (MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, Command of the Message). Growth mindset, coachable, and diligent in following a proven sales process. Entrepreneurial self‑starter who focuses on account planning, pipeline generation and opportunity progression. Strategic, but acts with urgency. Proficient in Salesforce. Fluent English; knowledge of the local regional language required. Benefits
