The successful person for this role will need to be happy to go through SÜ2 security clearance
The Role
This is a customer facing & technical role suited to someone with a background in software development or consulting. The role is not hands on coding day to day, but you should be comfortable reading and interpreting code. You will work closely with client architects, developers, and operations teams, solving technical problems, supporting database deployments, and guiding consulting engagements from planning through to delivery. Full training is provided.
For This Role, the Ideal Person Will Have
- 5+ years of experience in software development, consulting, or support, across a range of industries
- German speaking and resident in Germany, with a willingness to undergo SÜ2 security clearance
- Java as a main programming language, to a standard sufficient to successfully complete the Tradecraft assessment
- Familiarity with software architectures, deployment, and operations
- Comfortable working in Linux environments
Additional Technologies (Nice to Have)
None of the following are core requirements, but they would be a strong advantage for the exploratory data analysis and data science aspects of the role:
- Python, Apache Kafka, and Apache Airflow
- Exposure to Trino and Nessie
- Experience with agent based solutions and Hugging Face
- Development and operational skills with OpenShift
