To succeed, we are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager (all genders), solely focused on B2C retention, on a senior (to staff) level to join our Team. This position is full-time.
The Role
This is an opportunity for you, an ambitious and intrinsically motivated Marketing Manager, to work in a small and value-driven company. We’re offering a stable environment as we’re running an established and profitable business. At the same time we can offer lots of individual responsibility, freedom and room to move the needle.
You’ll work directly with and report to our CMO, while collaborating closely with our Marketing and Product Engineering teams.
We operate within a B2B2C model while our marketing efforts currently are almost exclusively B2B focused.
We have over 100,000 customers using our app — but here’s the thing: we’re barely scratching the surface when it comes to engaging with them. This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up and make a tangible, high-impact difference.
What you’ll do:
- Create compelling content: Take the lead in crafting engaging, customer-focused content for lifecycle campaigns, with input and support from the core marketing team.
- Build a lifecycle strategy from scratch: Develop and execute a targeted customer engagement plan to address a critical gap in our customer experience.
- Deploy and deliver: Launch campaigns through Braze or work closely with the product engineering team to integrate lifecycle initiatives seamlessly within the app.
In this role, you’ll be required to gain a deep understanding of the unique features and benefits of our products in Germany and Switzerland. By gaining a thorough understanding of what sets us apart, you’ll play a key role in helping our customers grasp these benefits.
Hard Requirements
- Native level language skills in German
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Existing EU work permit
- Primary residence in Germany
Nice to have
- Relevant industry experience (finance, insurance, investment)
- Familiarity with Git, Markdown, and basic HTML
- Bonus: Having worked for a pension insurance or as an insurance broker before
- Bonus: You bring strong skills in either French or Italian

- Marketing automation tools : Experience with tools like Braze to manage and automate customer retention efforts.
- Data analytics platforms : Knowledge of tools like June , Tableau , or Looker for customer insights and reporting.
- Churn prevention : Experience in identifying and mitigating churn risks.
- Customer feedback : Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to refine retention strategies.
The Person we are looking for
- Creative thinker, exceptional storyteller and communicator
- Strong analytical skills, with experience measuring and optimizing marketing performance based on data insights
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- You’re self-driven, taking ownership of your responsibilities and acting as a “manager of one,” with the ability to work independently without needing close supervision.
- You don’t need absolute certainty or a pre-defined playbook about what to do and instead enjoy exploring your own ideas.
Salary ranges
- Senior: 62 – 72k
- Staff: 72 – 80k
To avoid confusion or disappointment: We have clear expectations for higher levels and the upper end of these salary bands. We will assess your seniority level during the interview process. These are our levels, so please don’t expect having held a title previously is a guarantee for a certain level.
Bonus
We pay voluntary company-wide bonuses of an estimated 3-10%, if business performance permits, with a 100% track-record of doing so since 2019. We are in the process of making these goal-based, too.
