For a client in the financial services sector in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Kafka Platform Engineer / Operations Specialist to support a business-critical Data Integration Platform team.The assignment is intended to strengthen the team for approximately six months and focuses heavily on Kafka platform operations, production support and integration services.Operate, maintain and support the enterprise Apache Kafka streaming platformEnsure stability, availability and reliable operation of business-critical integration servicesMonitor Kafka clusters and identify performance or availability issuesTroubleshoot and resolve incidents within production environmentsPerform platform maintenance and operational engineering activitiesSupport application and integration teams using the Kafka platformAnalyse logs, platform behaviour and system dependencies during incidentsContribute to platform optimisation, automation and continuous service improvementSupport the Managed File Transfer service used for secure data exchange with external partnersWork within a DevOps-oriented Data Integration Platform teamParticipate in operational processes including incident, problem and change managementStrong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka administration and operationsExperience operating Kafka platforms in enterprise production environmentsStrong troubleshooting and incident-resolution skillsExperience with monitoring, platform maintenance and performance optimisationStrong understanding of distributed systems and integration platformsGood Linux / Unix administration skillsExperience with DevOps practices and operational automationExperience supporting business-critical production platformsFind more English Speaking Jobs in Switzerland on Arbeitnow #J-18808-Ljbffr
