Remote Senior Agentic AI / CI/CD Software Engineer

pFor a leading Swiss organisation, we are looking for an experienced Senior / Principal Agentic AI CI/CD Software Engineer to support a strategic Agentic Engineering initiative. /ppThe project focuses on establishing secure, scalable and repeatable engineering practices for AI agent capabilities, modernising software delivery processes, and improving engineering productivity through automation and measurable development metrics. /ppThe ideal candidate combines strong hands-on CI/CD engineering expertise with a solid understanding of software supply chain security, GitHub/Bitbucket ecosystems and emerging Agentic AI development practices. /ppThe assignment is structured into two phases: /pullibPhase 1 (November–December 2026) /b: Initial implementation, validation and delivery of key engineering capabilities. /lilibPhase 2 (January–March 2027): /b Continuous improvement, integration enhancements and optimisation based on pilot feedback /li /ulh3Agentic AI Skills Lifecycle Management /h3ulliEstablish secure and repeatable processes for validating, reviewing, approving and publishing AI agent skills. /liliImplement governance and quality controls for agent skills and related engineering workflows. /liliDemonstrate a complete skill lifecycle, including version management and rollback capabilities. /liliEnsure compliance with internal security guidelines and engineering standards. /li /ulh3CI/CD Engineering DevSecOps /h3ulliDesign, implement and optimise secure CI/CD pipelines and reusable workflows. /liliDevelop automated quality gates, validation mechanisms and secure deployment processes. /liliWork with containers, runners, scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). /liliImplement security controls for dependencies, packages, secrets and access permissions. /liliImprove developer experience and engineering productivity through automation. /li /ulh3GitHub, Bitbucket Engineering Metrics /h3ulliExtract, process and analyse repository data using GitHub and Bitbucket APIs. /liliSupport the migration and preservation of Bitbucket repository history, including commits, pull requests, reviews and associated metadata. /liliEstablish reproducible engineering performance baselines. /liliDevelop and validate aggregated SDLC and DORA metrics, including lead time, review performance and quality indicators. /liliEnsure exported repository information remains accessible, consistent and verifiable. /li /ulh3Engineering Scaffold Integration /h3ullipContribute hands-on engineering improvements to an existing development scaffold and tooling ecosystem. /p /lilipDevelop and test targeted integrations and workflow enhancements. /p /lilipCollaborate with internal architects and engineering teams to ensure architectural alignment. /p /lilipTranslate pilot feedback into prioritised technical improvements. /p /lilipProvide technical documentation, knowledge transfer and structured handover. /p /lilipSeveral years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or CI/CD Engineering. /p /lilipStrong hands-on expertise in building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines. /p /lilipAdvanced knowledge of GitHub, Bitbucket, Git workflows and repository APIs. /p /lilipPractical experience with reusable workflows, runners, containers, scripting and Infrastructure as Code. /p /lilipSolid understanding of DevSecOps and software supply chain security. /p /lilipExperience with dependency validation, trusted sources, secrets management, access controls and secure automation. /p /lilipProven ability to extract, transform and analyse software development metrics, including SDLC and DORA indicators. /p /lilipStrong troubleshooting, integration and technical documentation skills. /p /lilipAbility to work independently in complex enterprise engineering environments. /p /lilipEnglish proficiency at C1 level or higher. /p /lilipAvailability during Swiss business hours. /p /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
