For our client, we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Lead ABS Developer Claims to support an international claims environment starting 01.08.2026.
Analyze how global software components can be implemented locally in the claims / motor environment
Define and elaborate the target architecture for the local integration of group components
Specify local adaptations, extensions and technical requirements
Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers across different locations
Coordinate and align with international development teams
Ensure quality through code reviews, unit tests and system integration tests
Align local adaptations with relevant stakeholders
Support the implementation of architectural guidelines and technical standards
More than 10 years of experience as a Lead Developer, Senior Developer or Solution Architect
Strong experience working with international development teams
Proactive, hands‑on mindset with strong ownership
Very strong Java development experience, ideally with Java 17 or higher
Experience with Spring Boot 3.x
Experience with REST APIs, microservices and event‑driven architectures
Experience with Kafka
Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Git workflows, pull requests, merge processes and code reviews
Experience with JUnit testing
Experience with domain‑driven design
Experience working in agile environments
Confident use of development and delivery tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Jenkins, JIRA and DBVisualizer
ABS know‑how, especially in the claims / claims file area (nice to have)
Experience with CISL / CISLv2 (nice to have)
Experience with the ABS Business Layer, especially in a claims context (nice to have)
Experience with ABS Extensions and ABS Core Plug‑ins (nice to have)
Knowledge of claims business processes and standard claims process flows (nice to have)
Experience with OSGi / Eclipse Plug‑ins (nice to have)
Cloud knowledge in Azure and/or AWS (nice to have)
Camunda knowledge (nice to have)
German language skills (nice to have)
