Your mission
- Contribution to multidisciplinary teams with own scientific expertise to achieve corporate and customer goals of challenging drug discovery projects within the field of insect cell culture.
- You will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing expression strategies for protein production in insect cells.
- Your main focus will be small- and mid-scale screening for our insect cell expression platform as well as supporting those efforts for E. coli.
- Preparation of all relevant project documentation (i.e. SOPs, technical reports, project plans, scientific presentations) will also be part of your work, as well as their review and training.
- Presentation of the scientific results as well as convincing and confident communication of the content to colleagues, customers, and business partners.
Your profile
- PhD in biochemistry or related field with an excellent proven track record.
- Ideally 1-2 years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry regarding the development of small- or mid-scale screening for insect cells. Experience with other cell systems is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Your positive and open personality helps you to understand other opinions and contributes to productive project discussions with internal and customer project teams.
- You work independently and service-oriented with an outstanding team spirit and excellent organization and communication skills.
