Position Summary As Sustainability Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in implementing PROXITY's sustainability strategy across its European logistics real estate portfolio. Working closely with Asset Management, Technical Asset Management, Project Development, and Transactions teams, you will drive sustainability initiatives that enhance asset performance, support decarbonization objectives, and contribute to long-term value creation. You will lead sustainability projects across the portfolio, including certifications, energy efficiency measures, renewable energy initiatives, and carbon reduction programs. Working with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will help identify sustainability opportunities, manage project delivery, and support the integration of sustainability considerations into investment, development, and asset management activities. Key Responsibilities Implement PROXITY's Sustainability Strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders to improve the sustainability performance of the portfolio. Manage sustainability due diligence during acquisitions and identify sustainability-related risks, opportunities, and mitigation measures. Drive sustainability initiatives across the portfolio, including PV projects, smart meter roll-outs, EV charging solutions, energy efficiency measures, decarbonization projects, and sustainability certifications. Assess asset-level sustainability performance and identify cost-effective opportunities to improve energy efficiency, building performance, and operating costs. Coordinate external consultants and service providers to ensure the efficient delivery of sustainability projects, audits, and certification programs. Conduct CRREM analyses and support decarbonization strategies to reduce transition risks and achieve carbon reduction targets. Lead sustainability certification projects (primarily BREEAM) from asset selection and pre-assessment through implementation and certification. Evaluate and prioritize sustainability investments based on business case, value creation potential, decarbonization impact, and strategic relevance to the portfolio. Candidate Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Sustainability, or a related field. Approximately 5–7 years of professional experience in sustainability, real estate, engineering, construction, or a related environment. Proven experience in the delivery of photovoltaic (PV) projects, including project management and vendor coordination. Experience managing EV charging infrastructure projects from needs assessment and tendering through implementation and handover. Hands-on experience with sustainability certifications, particularly BREEAM. Fluent in English. German and additional European languages are a strong advantage.
