PT1 is a leading pan-European early-stage venture capital platform, investing in the transformation of real assets, e.g. EnergyTech, PropTech/ConstructionTech and GreenTech. PT1 has 80+ LPs from these industries, banks, tier 1 family offices, etc.
We have been at the forefront of ESG in VC for many years and enjoy a 50/50 gender parity on management level. We are currently investing out of our second flagship fund and third opportunity fund. We are planning further funds for the next years.
To continue to grow, we are looking for an Investment Manager / Principal to join our Berlin office.
Tasks
- Be responsible for investments end-to-end together with our existing 7 FTE investment team
- Generate outstanding Seed & Pre-Seed deal flow, do market research and analyses
- Analyze startups regarding market potential, product quality, development opportunities, financing horizon and exit potential
- Independently conduct negotiations, manage due diligence (end to end deal making responsibility)
- Support the existing portfolio, take over board seats
Requirements
- A strong, proactive, goal-oriented, self-motivated and organized can-do person
- At least 2-4 years of relevant VC dealmaking experience and high affinity for \“executional excellence in VC\“
- Broad founder and co-investor network, Tier 1 preferred
- Strong interest in the interface between the built world, technological innovation and green transformation
- Very good written and spoken skills in English and German
- Outstanding analytical and research skills
