Overview
As Director of Technology you lead high-quality software and enterprise solutions, shaping modern architecture and cloud adoption. You work with senior clients, up to C-suite, to drive business outcomes across the SDLC. You will guide engineering transformation in the German Financial Services sector and contribute to regional growth and engineering excellence. This role blends technical leadership with client collaboration and industry representation, offering a chance to influence digital transformation at scale.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define future-oriented architecture and operating models for financial services clients
- Deliver digital solutions and efficiencies across the German FS sector
- Drive enterprise-scale engineering transformation to enable growth and superior customer experiences
- Contribute to regional growth via go-to-market ideas and revenue opportunities
- Mentor and inspire engineering talent, promoting best practices
- Represent the company in industry forums and external platforms
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Extensive experience delivering solutions for German Financial Services clients (private banks, public banks, cooperative banks, investment sector)
- Strong knowledge of core banking concepts and systems (payments, bespoke or 3rd party platforms, risk management)
- Experience with digital business transformation under modern tech and methodologies
- Consulting experience and ability to manage senior stakeholders up to C-suite and run collaborative workshops
- Thought leadership with a POV on DACH FS topics and strategy to monetize ideas
- Agile delivery experience across the full SDLC and hands-on with agile ceremonies
- Ability to navigate unknowns and lead solution options and estimations at RFP stages
- End-to-end delivery experience from ideation to value realization
- Fluency in German and English
