In this role you will lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale Murex solutions for banks and asset managers. You will guide cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to align front-to-back processes with enterprise strategy, driving scalable, cohesive architectures. You will propel transformation programs, champion modern delivery practices, and optimize Murex environments to enable reliable, compliant operations at scale. - Define and govern the Murex architecture landscape across programs and platforms
- Drive architectural decisions and technology choices with standards and best practices
- Lead end-to-end front-to-back transformation programs across distributed teams
- Oversee cross-framework integration with robust governance and documentation
- Translate strategies into structured architectural designs for agile delivery
- Lead go-live planning and stabilization, including change management and testing
- Evolve CI/CD and DevOps practices to enable scalable delivery
- Drive innovation, automation, cloud adoption, and tooling optimization
- Establish governance for risk, regulatory alignment, and operating models
- Mentor senior architects and ensure consistency of practices across the organization
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Extensive hands-on Murex experience with modules and interfacing areas (MxML Exchange, Datamart, pre-/post-trade, market data, static data) and domain knowledge across GOM, product/trade lifecycle, pricing, simulation, counterparty management
- Proven ability to define and govern the architecture of large-scale Murex platforms with deep data model understanding
- Experience consolidating multi-instance Murex landscapes across enterprise environments
- Strong database skills (Transact-SQL or PL/SQL), Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting, plus proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Experience leading large transformation initiatives (greenfield, migrations, consolidation)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and modernization strategies
- Experience automating operational processes and implementing DevOps/CI-CD with Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Automic, Autosys
- Hands-on Murex batch configuration, EOD processing, and platform optimization
- Murex upgrades/migrations experience (advantageous)
- Solid understanding of capital markets
