Full-Stack Developer Typescript / Rust (f/m/d) in Spain

We are looking for a talented full-stack software engineer to join our small and highly skilled product team. We focus on building innovative products quickly, maintaining high standards of code quality and user experience, and staying at the forefront of new technologies.

Tasks

1. Design and develop features end-to-end. Work across the frontend, backend, and everything in between to solve problems and delight users.
2. Create beautiful, user-friendly UIs using React (NextJS, ES11, TypeScript) and TailwindCSS.
3. Enhance our distributed backend with Node (NestJS + TypeScript) and Rust, utilizing PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
4. Integrate various services and APIs, even if unfamiliar initially.
5. Develop scalable solutions considering growth and time-to-market.
6. Address technical debt and ensure code is maintainable, robust, and safe.

Requirements

1. 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with TypeScript, React, and interest or experience in Rust. We value overall engineering skill over specific language or framework expertise.
2. Ability to design intuitive, high-quality web UI experiences from the user\’s perspective.
3. Commitment to high code quality, robustness, and scalability for long-term use.
4. Proactive learning attitude and desire to improve and excel.
5. Entrepreneurial spirit and versatility as a generalist.
6. Experience with DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
7. Knowledge of distributed systems, scaling, and microservices architecture.
8. A college degree is not required but appreciated.
9. Fluent in English ; German is a plus.
