Senior Manager Business Processes Warehouse Integration

  • Develop and implement transactional business processes to service PUMA’s wholesale, retail, and eCommerce channels with focus on warehouse management systems processes.
  • Analyze, improve, redesign business processes, and manage their implementation in the SAP S/4 HANA Fashion solution.
  • Drive the roll‑out of the SAP S/4 HANA Fashion solution to PUMA subsidiaries.
  • Interface Orchestration : Lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end integration scenarios between S/4HANA and various local/global WMS providers.
  • Requirements Engineering : Act as the lead translator, comfortable discussing technical specs (IDOCs, API) with developers and explaining business impact to stakeholders. Interact with WMS counterparts plus internal technical experts and define exactly how to handle:
    • Master Data: Article master synchronization and inventory alignment.
    • Outbound Flow: Delivery creation, picking requests, and the critical Shipment Confirmation loop.
    • Inbound Flow: Purchase Order staging, inbound delivery notifications, and goods receipt postings.
  • Lead Mapping Workshops : Facilitate deep‑dive sessions with WMS counterparts to align on field‑level logic, segments, and qualifiers.
  • End‑to‑End Testing : Lead smoke tests, user acceptance testing, and hyper‑care for warehouse go‑lives, ensuring interfaces work correctly.
  • Cutover Planning & Execution : Own the cutover planning and execution for the warehouse stream. This includes:
    • Defining activities during the 'Blackout Period' and ramp‑down/ramp‑up schedules for warehouse operations.
    • Orchestrating the 'Trial Cutover' to validate interfaces in the production environment.
  • Template Governance : Maintain the Puma EBP template, ensuring warehouse integrations are standardized yet scalable.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years of hands‑on functional experience in SAP logistics, focusing on S/4HANA SD, MM, and LE modules.
  • Proven track record of delivering at least 2–3 end‑to‑end WMS‑to‑ERP integration projects, ideally involving global templates or large‑scale distribution centers.
  • Deep operational understanding of inbound and outbound warehouse business processes (e.g., wave picking, cross‑docking, returns processing, inventory reconciliation).
  • Previous experience within fashion, retail, or consumer goods industry is a plus.

Technical & Integration Expertise

  • Mastery of EDI/IDoc Structures : Profound knowledge of message types relevant to warehouse operations (e.g., ARTMAS, DESADV/SHPORD, SHPCON/WHSCON).
  • Data Mapping Ownership : Experience organizing and leading mapping workshops with 3rd‑party WMS providers or external logic vendors, translating business requirements into precise field‑level mapping specs (XML, JSON, IDoc segments).
  • Cutover & Migration Management : Experience leading technical and operational cutovers, including defining blackout procedures, executing trial cutovers, and managing initial stock uploads (using LTMC, LSMW, or migration cockpits).

Core Competencies & Soft Skills

  • Technical Translation : Ability to translate complex corporate SAP template rules into actionable requirements for local warehouse IT teams.
  • Mandated English proficiency : Must be fluent in English. Knowledge of German or other regional languages is an asset for local warehouse rollouts.
