As our Paid Media Lead, you will shape and drive the global paid media strategy for PUMA's eCommerce business across more than 20 international markets. You will own the vision, framework, and execution strategy across Paid Search and Paid Social, ensuring our media investments deliver measurable business impact while supporting local market needs. Working at the intersection of strategy and activation, you will lead global initiatives, optimize investment decisions, build scalable best practices, and help transform PUMA's performance media operating model.
Lead Global Media Strategy
- Own PUMA's global paid media strategy across Paid Search and Paid Social.
- Define investment frameworks and planning models that drive consistency across markets while maintaining local flexibility.
- Establish channel and platform strategies across Google, Meta, TikTok, and emerging media platforms.
Drive Measurement & Investment Decisions
- Lead the global measurement framework covering attribution, incrementality testing, and media effectiveness.
- Translate insights into actionable budget allocation recommendations focused on business performance and sustainable growth.
- Create trusted reporting frameworks that provide transparency across global, regional, and local stakeholders.
Build a Culture of Experimentation
- Drive a structured test-and-learn agenda across audiences, creative, automation, and full-funnel media strategies.
- Transform learnings into scalable playbooks and best practices for global implementation.
Manage Strategic Partnerships
- Own relationships with global media and technology partners.
- Ensure agency performance, governance, commercial effectiveness, and data security standards are consistently met.
- Evaluate and optimize PUMA's media technology stack to maximize business value and operational effectiveness.
Shape Global Governance
- Establish scalable standards, processes, and best practices across markets.
- Support the evolution of PUMA's global performance media operating model.
Partner Across the Business
- Collaborate closely with Brand, Creative, CRM, eCommerce, Product, Analytics, and regional marketing teams.
- Represent Paid Media in senior leadership forums and translate media performance into clear commercial insights.
YOUR TALENT
- 8+ years of experience in Paid Search and Paid Social, including several years in a leadership role with ownership of strategy, investment, and teams.
- Proven success managing global or multi-market performance marketing programs across multiple regions.
- Deep expertise across platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok and modern paid media automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of attribution, incrementality testing, GA4, marketing measurement, and media investment optimization.
- Hands‑on practitioner mindset with the ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and operational execution.
- Experience managing significant media budgets with accountability for growth, efficiency, and ROI.
- Strong agency management capabilities, including vendor selection, performance governance, and commercial negotiations.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams across markets and geographies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
- Experience driving organizational change and building scalable global operating models.
- Commercially minded with strong eCommerce understanding and the ability to connect media performance to business outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have:
- Experience within retail, fashion, sportswear, or another fast-moving consumer brand.
- Exposure to marketplace environments such as Amazon and regional marketplace ecosystems.
- Experience building or transitioning in‑house media capabilities or centers of excellence.
- Knowledge of MMM, incrementality platforms, CRM/CDP-driven audience strategies, and AI‑powered marketing solutions.
- Experience managing distributed and multicultural teams.
