YOUR MISSION
Product Ownership & Backlog Management Own the product backlog for a defined product or capability area (e.g. Checkout within Basket & Checkout). Translate portfolio strategy and investment priorities into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals. Define and maintain a prioritised roadmap aligned to portfolio objectives. Ensure backlog items are outcome-led and tied to measurable success criteria. Continuously refine and reprioritise work based on performance, insight, and evolving business needs.
Discovery, Validation & Consumer Centricity
Work closely with UX/UI, Research, and CRO to ensure solutions are grounded in user insight and behavioural data. Participate in and support research, testing, and experimentation initiatives. Ensure product decisions are informed by data, experimentation, and validated learning, not opinion. Identify friction, failure points, and improvement opportunities within the owned product area. Champion consumer‑centric thinking within the squad and across stakeholders.
Delivery & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery. Balance discovery and delivery to ensure the team is solving the right problems while shipping value regularly. Manage dependencies across teams and portfolios in a complex, global environment. Escalate risks, trade‑offs, and delivery constraints clearly and early to the Teamhead. Ensure alignment with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Security, and other relevant functions where required.
Performance & KPIs
Contribute directly to the portfolio KPIs defined by the Teamhead (e.g. conversion, payment success, engagement, reliability). Define feature‑and‑initiative-level success metrics in collaboration with Data & Analytics. Monitor performance trends and use insight to inform backlog refinement. Support experimentation and continuous optimisation within the product area. Clearly communicate impact, learnings, and performance updates to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with the Teamhead / Portfolio Owner to align on priorities and trade‑offs. Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure relevance and scalability. Represent the product area in relevant forums and planning sessions. Ensure transparency of progress, risks, and outcomes.
YOUR TALENT
Experience 6-8+ years of experience in digital product roles such as Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar positions. Experience working with payment providers, checkout systems, or commerce platforms is highly beneficial. Strong understanding of conversion optimisation and customer journey performance. Experience working within agile product teams managing backlog and delivery cycles.

Strong backlog ownership and product delivery management. Ability to collaborate closely with designers to ensure seamless transactional user experiences. Understanding of technical considerations such as payment integrations, fraud, and platform performance. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify optimisation opportunities.
