Marketing Team at Pure

As part of the EMEA Marketing team, the role of the Field Enterprise Marketing Manager Germany and Austria is responsible for leading the development strategy and of end user and partner marketing programs to generate demand for Pure Storage\’s platform and solutions in the enterprise segment, reporting to the Marketing Director of the region. This individual will leverage the marketing strategies and programs created by Corporate Marketing and EMEA Marketing Teams. This role requires a Marketing professional with the ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales Channel teams and Corporate Marketing as well as our strategic alliance partners and reseller channel ecosystem.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE…

You will:

  • Own and develop Germany & Austria demand generation marketing strategy in collaboration and alignment with Sales Leadership and teams with a specific focus on enterprise business.
  • Strategize, prioritize, and execute marketing plans end to end. Project manage strategic marketing activities, executing on time and on budget.
  • Coordinate in-country product launches and quarterly campaigns influencing the brand and positioning of Pure in the German and Austrian market.
  • Determine the marketing mix of tactics to drive demand in Germany/Austria Enterprise business and keep accountability of the business pipeline developed addressing pipeline needs with coordinated marketing activities in demand generation and acceleration.
  • Support the global ABM programs and collaborate closely with the extended marketing team for local implementation of Account Based Marketing tactics.
  • Collaborate with Pure’s sales and marketing teams to devise high-impact awareness and lead generation programs in all German/Austrian regions and customer segments of focus.
  • Understand market dynamics, customer needs, and messaging of relevant use cases for Pure’s products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with key selected partners in developing demand marketing plans for identified Focus Partners addressing the enterprise segment requirements.
  • Coordinate with Digital Marketing, Channel Marketing, and Marketing Program functions providing input and focus areas to amplify the local activities leveraging the broader ecosystem of paid media, webinars, organic social, and panemea programs.
  • Regularly meet with local partners and partner management to understand impact on current business and market trends and to ensure that programs meet their needs.
  • Leverage customer insights to improve overall marketing results targeting, segmenting, and personalizing communications to attract, attain, retain, convert, and upsell customers. Closely collaborate with the customer marketing corporate team to further develop Pure’s customer communities in the region.
  • Implement and optimize proven marketing processes including repeatable frameworks and models for effective communication within the extended marketing teams, sales, and channel partners.
  • Manage local vendors for logistics, content, collateral & promotional items, support localization needs in marketing assets.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor\’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Native/Bilingual German speaker and business fluent English required.
  • Seniority and demonstrated ability to define business objectives and translate them into strategic marketing connected tactics with the ability to implement them across a broad range of audiences.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adhere to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Agility, patience, and the ability to drive projects to completion and result analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver tangible business results through strategic marketing programs.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Proven ability to work well with all levels of management and peers. Understanding of interrelationships of the business units and working knowledge of all sales and marketing functions.
  • Excellent comprehension of customer acquisition and awareness-building.
  • Highly creative with the ability to originate and innovate ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with an emphasis on clarity and simplicity.
  • Flexibility to collaborate regularly with regional time zones.
  • Must be willing and able to work in an open office team environment.
