Whilst each team has their own specific responsibilities, the team work together in a highly collaborative environment to support the delivery of joint objectives. /p pThe Procurement Manager will sit within the Sourcing sub-team, working along side 8 other Procurement Managers / Procurement Officers. /p pThe Procurement Managers role is to ensure PureGym spends its money effectively, efficiently and economically, achieving value for money whilst reducing risk via a sustainable supply chain. Key performance metrics include savings, contract compliance and due diligence completion. /p pThe Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities activities are below. /p ul liDevelop and implement procurement strategies that align with business/functional objectives. /li liLead multiple, simultaneous sourcing activities including but not limited to RFIs, RFPs, benchmarking activities, contract renewals and direct supplier negotiations. This includes: ul liFacilitating / project managing the end-to-end process from project initiation to supplier mobilization, effectively communicating progress status updates throughout. /li liWorking with stakeholders to identify and define requirements. /li liReviewing the market to identify potential suppliers and solutions. /li liNegotiating commercial terms with suppliers. /li liWorking closely with Contract Managers to support legal negotiations. /li liWorking closely with Procurement Governance Manager to support the due diligence / supplier vetting process. /li liWorking with senior stakeholders to obtain sign off and approvals. /li liSupporting stakeholders to mobilise contracts / suppliers effectively. /li /ul /li liProvide support to business stakeholders during supplier management activities, actively contributing to supplier performance reviews and quarterly business review meetings. /li liBe the point of escalation for contractual and supplier performance issues. /li liProvide support and sound commercial advice to stakeholders on all procurement matters. /li liDevelop strong and credible relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions including IT, Ops / FM, Property, Finance, HR and Marketing. /li liEnsure stakeholders are aware of and adhere to the Procurement policies / standards. /li liIdentify areas of opportunity – in the form of cost reduction, service improvement and risk mitigation, and work with stakeholders to identify a plan for delivery. /li liSupport the development of the Procurement teams strategy and plan. /li liActively contribute to ensure the team meet all Procurement KPIs – including financial savings / benefits, contract compliance, sourcing compliance etc. /li liThis is a hybrid role, split across home-working and any applicable PureGym Office (Copenhagen, Zurich, London and or Leeds). /li liThere will be the need for occasional international travel (within Europe), up to 4 times per year. /li /ul h3Job requirements /h3 pbThe Person /b /p pThe successful candidate will be: /p pProactive, driven and willing to take the lead on their own projects / initiatives. /p pAdaptable and comfortable working at pace in a fast moving and dynamic environment. /p pAn effective team player, providing support to others within the team, and helping foster a safe, inclusive and fun work environment. /p pAble to work under pressure, managing multiple projects and priorities. /p pSolutions orientated, with the ability to think strategically and commercially to achieve pragmatic solutions. /p pKnowledgeable on standard contract clauses / provisions, and be comfortable negotiating basic TCs independent of Contract Manager support. /p pComfortable engaging with, managing and where appropriate, challenging stakeholders. /p pAble to think critically to identify areas of opportunity and improved ways of working, and influence others to implement change. /p p5+ years in a procurement role with experience leading tender / RFP processes, including complex negotiations, generating cost savings and commercial impact. /p pKey skills required include: /p ul liProficiency in German and English language /li liStakeholder Management / Business Partnering /li liSupplier Management /li liCritical Thinking Commercial Mindset /li liExperience working with P2P/S2P systems. /li liHighly proficient in the use of business tools, including but not limited to: /li /ul pbJoin us on our mission is to bring high quality, affordable fitness to everyone, everywhere. /b /p pPureGym is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
