Job Summary

Design generators, motors, and/or associated control/protective systems for commercial, industrial, and/or military applications.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of more senior level Engineers, contribute to design of rotating electrical equipment using various LSNA design programs.
• Perform/direct activities to ensure manufacturing and operational testing conform to internal and external customer specifications.
• Provide direct technical support to internal and external customers.
• Mentor and train co‑workers as required.
• Prescribe, interpret, and analyze test results and formulate remedial measures as required.
• Use Lean and Quality initiatives in a cross‑functional environment.
• Support applicable manufacturing and testing systems.
• Utilize current ERP/PLM systems to make necessary updates to internal processes and design guidelines.

Experience & Skills

• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical power fundamentals, as well as strong analytical, organizational, and oral communication skills.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience.

Education

BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar technical science field) required.
