Role Description:
The Technical Manager at PVOne Austria is a full-time, semi-hybrid role based in Mistelbach an der Zaya, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The person in this role has fundamential experiences in the PV business and held previously a C-level position. He oversees technical operations and teams, does technical planning for quotations, visits onside projects, coordinates cross-functional projects, and ensures timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing and mentoring technical teams, prioritizing tasks, and manages tasks. The Technical Manager collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements, supervises the implementation of new technologies, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, diagnose issues, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Proven team management abilities to lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary technical teams.
Budget controlling, reporting to stakeholders.
Background in PV, inverters, Batteries, BESS, with the ability to drive innovation and evaluate new technologies or methods.
Solid project management skills to plan, execute, monitor, and complete technical projects on time and within budget.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration with remote work.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in the energy, photovoltaic, or related technology sector is an neccesity.
Demonstrated a stong mindset and commitment to continuous improvement and quality standards.
