What you will have an opportunity to do

We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional; strengths in service, thorough knowledge ofthe guest experience, and exceptional_Beyond compare_service attitude, for the position of Food & Beverage Manager.

The Food & Beverage Manager will lead the diningroom andoversee the flawless execution of superior service while ensuring all company policies and standards are met.

In addition to performance of key responsibilities and supportive functions, this position may be required to possessa combination of the following skills and experiences:

• Requires working knowledge of Full-Service Restaurant operations, fine dining core standards, and the standard operating procedures.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, along withdemonstratedability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with maximum efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively lead and work cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to exercise sound logic and judgment in evaluating situations and utilizingappropriate resources.
• Must be self-directed, motivatedanddemonstrateexceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectivei in the English language, both verbally and in writing. A second language is desirable.
• Must have experience in all Microsoft Office and industry relevant systems such as Micros.

The primary responsibilities for the Food & Beverage Managerwillinclude but are not limited to:

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager inleadingthe daily operations of the restaurant, whilemanagingthe day-to-day activities and assignments of the Front and Heart of the House staff.
• Organize andassistwith conductingpre-shift and departmental meetings, communicating information to the team members, such as house count and menu changes.
• Create weekly schedules to ensure proper coverage to service expected business levels.
• Work seamlessly, collaboratively and in tandem with the Restaurant General Managertocreate memorable dining experiences for our guests.
• Execute all policies accuratelywith improvement to quality, service, and operations.
• Engage in ongoing development of Front of the House staff while holding theteamaccountable for performance andmaintainingstandards.
• Assistin developing training programs
• Achievequality and guest satisfaction goals; respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests.
• Promoteteamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Ensureconsistent adherence to_Forbes_Five-Star service and Belgrove Resortbrand standards, ensuring elevated products and servicearedelivered.
• Must be presenton the floor during peak business periods, to ensure guest satisfaction
• Consistently deliverhigh standardsof care to existing customers andto promotefurther business by exceeding customer expectations where possible.
• Create an environment of engagement for team members, while being a liaison between team members and management.
• Assist the Restaurant General Managerwith specialprojects asassigned.

What are we looking for?

Must have at leastfive(5) or more years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant, with experience infine dining or upscale serviceenvironmentpreferred, anotherrelated/equivalent field may be considered.

Preferably TIPS and Serv Safe Certification

Associateor bachelor’sdegree, preferably specializing in Hospitality, Food & Beverageand orequivalentexperienceisrequired.
