For a large-scale industrial construction project in Germany, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager. You will manage the construction and assembly activities on site and are the linchpin between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and project management. A great assignment of 12+ months in which you can fully deploy your experience in steel construction or heavy industry.
Responsibilities
- Managing the construction and assembly activities on site.
- Leading site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitoring planning, progress and budget.
- Ensuring safety, quality and environment on the construction site.
- Coordinating with project management, engineering and the client.
- Drawing up and monitoring construction methods and work plans.
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks on the construction site.
- Reporting on progress, costs and risks.
Requirements
- Experience as a Construction Manager or Site Manager.
- Experience in steel construction, offshore or heavy industry.
- Knowledge of construction processes, planning and cost control.
- Leadership and strong communication skills.
- Willing to work on site, also abroad.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
- Certificates VCA VOL and VCA Basis.
- If applicable: NEBOSH or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Experience with offshore projects.
- Knowledge of BIM and construction software.
- Experience with multidisciplinary projects.
