As an IT security expert (m/f/d), your primary goal is to maintain operational IT security at a high level and to continuously optimize it on the basis of changing threat situations and technical developments. You will act independently and act as a point of contact for colleagues and external parties.

Place of work is Saarbrücken.

Your Tasks Are

• Monitoring of deployed systems and applications in the IT security environment
• Analysis, processing and reporting of security incidents
• Identification, conception and implementation of TOMs
• Documentation of the IT security infrastructure
• Support in the creation of emergency concepts
• Operational management of the SOC service provider
• Accompaniment of external, internal reviews and audits on operational IT security
• Advising the specialist departments on operational IT security issues with regard to logging and monitoring
• Close cooperation with strategic information security to fulfill relevant requirements (ISO27001, PCI-DSS, MaRisk and BAIT)

What You Bring To The Table

• Degree in computer science/cyber security or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of operational IT security: threat assessments, derivation of new use cases for the SIEM, – monitoring/remediation of identified vulnerabilities of IT systems
• IT security certificates, e.g. CEH CISA, T.I.S.P., CISSP, CISM an advantage
• Knowledge of the standards PCI-DSS, ITIL, BSI basic protection, ISO 27001:2022 an advantage
• Sound IT user knowledge
• An independent, structured way of working
• Willingness to work on-call duty

Due to the handling of very personal data, we require a simple police clearance certificate and confirmation that there are no negative entries in the Schufa (credit reference agency) when concluding an employment contract.
