Role

Senior Cargo Sales Executive, based in Munich. The role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, protecting existing business, identifying new growth opportunities, and promoting QR’s cargo products and services while ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all sales and marketing activities at the station and region, driving market penetration and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Develop strategic business plans including sales steering activities to optimize revenue and enhance QR’s market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, key clients, and business partners in the cargo industry.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market share analysis using compliant methods. Identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement corrective strategies.
  • Ensure QR’s participation in sales campaigns and public events.
  • Assist customers/clients with all information related to booking/forwarding/delivery, liaising with the local Ground Handling Agents and with Head Office Cargo departments.
  • Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by the Head of Department.

Qualifications

  • Complete product knowledge and the market practices of the areas of jurisdiction.
